The research on advance materials are focused on high dielectric constant materials, both ceramics and polymeric composites, and ferroelectrics for new applications.
The superconducting materials are analyses for breakthrough applications; they allow unreachable performances if compared with conventional materials (for instance, the speed of superconducting electronics, more than hundreds of Gbit/s).
